Minaj then released a song called “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” in 2023, where she seemingly dissed Megan Thee Stallion by referencing her “Stallion” nickname and the equestrian accident that left actor Christopher Reeve paralyzed.
Megan Thee Stallion responded with her first song of 2024, “Hiss”, where she took a jab at Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender and was convicted of attempted rape charges. She rapped, “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan / these hoes mad at Megan’s Law”, referring to the US law that requires law enforcement to share information about registered sex offenders with the public1
