Lil Pump, the rapper who endorsed Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election, has taken his support to a new level by getting a tattoo of the former president’s face on his leg. The tattoo is based on Trump’s mugshot that was taken after he was arrested in 2023 for alleged election fraud in Georgia.
Lil Pump shared the photo of his new ink on Instagram on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, with the caption “MAGA” and two American flag emojis. The post received over 250,000 likes and thousands of comments, some praising and some criticizing the rapper’s choice.
Among the celebrities who reacted to the tattoo were producer Mike Dean, who expressed his disgust with vomiting emojis, UFC fighter Colby Covington, who applauded the rapper with “MAGA 2024”, and Donald Trump Jr., who commented “Hell yea”.
Lil Pump has been vocal about his admiration for Trump since 2020, when he appeared on stage with him at a rally in Michigan, where he called him the “greatest president of all time”. He also dyed his hair red, white, and blue to show his allegiance to the former president.
Lil Pump’s tattoo comes amid a legal battle between Trump and the state of Georgia, where he is facing 11 felony charges for allegedly trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Trump has pleaded not guilty and claimed that he was the victim of a “witch hunt”.
